Correspondence from Lady Sarah FitzHerbert to Francis Beresford, including: - has received a demand for repairs to the church but as the family are responsible for the chancel, is unwilling to set an improper precedent; inside is a draft letter from Beresford (16 April 1794: D239 M/E 4191-92); - the church roof is in a worse state than imagined with rain water dripping on the pews (18 April 1794: D239 M/E 4193); - a cart has carelessly damaged one of the posts at the entrance to the Avenue; wants to know when the painters should begin work on the outside of the Hall (13 August 1794: D239 M/E 4196)
