Note on outside: All seams of coal (except Barnsley). Area 61 acres O rood 15 poles. Term 60 years from 1 July 1925. Minimum rent £200 p.a. could Haigh Moor ex.....£100. Royalty Haigh Moor £23 per acre. Other seams £33 per foot per acre.

Fane of Fleet St. City of London, banker; Horace Edward Golding of 99 Cannon St., London Esq and Sydney Alexander Ponsoby of 1 Fleet St. City of London Esq (the Mortgagees of the fee simple of the minerals hereinafter described) 2; Frederick Wm. Fane, Horace Edward Golding and Sydney Alexander Ponsonby (Mortgagees of the life estate of the Earl in the said minerals etc) 3; Frederick Wm. Fane, Edmund Royds of 46 Bedford Square, London, solicitor and the said S.A. Ponsonby, assignees of the life estate of the 1st party 4; H.C.B. Wilson of Crofton Hall 5 and New Sharlston Collieries Co. Ltd (Reg. office Bush House, Aldwych, London W.C. 2) 6.
