6 horse power bell crank engine, with 16 inch cylinder, 2 foot stroke.
Reverse cross-section of the engine and boiler houses, side view of the engine, plan of the engine house and boiler, longitudinal section of the boiler (4 drawings on 1 sheet). The sheet bears a letter code.
Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 662. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 150.
For Liverpool Docks. The engine was originally made for Vauxhall Water Works in 1811, but they delayed their order and the engine was transferred to Liverpool Docks in Dec. 1811.
