(1) pp. 1-119, Affairs of Kurnool, Rival claims of the Peshwa and the Nizam. (2) pp. 121-65, Notes on the Coorg country from 1784 to 1795. (3) pp. 167-80, Notes on Corringotta and French complaints of encroachment by the British. (4) pp. 183-213, Notes on Tanjore, The claims of Serfojee Raja and Ameer [Amar] Sing decided in favour of Ameer Sing by Sir Archibald Campbell on the advice of 12 Pundits, the Rev. Christian Friedrich Schwartz acting as Interpreter. As guardian of Serfojee the Rev. Schwartz acted as an intermediary between the Madras Government and Tanjore. On the elevation of Ameer Sing to the Musnud Sir Archibald Campbell refused to accept any personal presents, 1787.
