Jones wrote this article for the souvenir edition of The Pathfinder Station, as part of his involvement with plans for a commemorative flight by an Anson aircraft on 21 June 1984 to mark the discovery of the Knickebein beams 44 years earlier. The article was reproduced a couple of months later in the magazine Fly Past.
