Accountant General Miscellaneous

The volume contains a mixture of foliation and pagination. It is foliated from 1-55, it is then paginated from 56-320B and finished with foliation from 321-461. There is no folios 46 or 442 and no pages 160-167. Pages 306-307 are out of order and can be found immediately after page 301. There is an entry in the index for folio 432, however there is no corresponding number in the volume. The index describes the entry as 'Responsibility of the Bank of England on payment of Bills of Exchange etc. on forged endorsements - solicitors opinion'. Folios 379, 380 and 428 each comprise a booklet which has been paginated. Folio 379 comprises 42 pages, Folio 380 comprises 30 pages, and Folio 428 comprises 20 pages. Where page or folio runs have been extended with the use of letters (e.g. folios 424A-T) the letter O has not been used to avoid confusion with the number 0.
