Description (What the record is about)
-
Copy letter from M.A. Fitter to J.P. stating that Messrs Bruff & Co. have proposed that the responsibility of the Acceptances should be divided between the vendors and purchasers. If the Bank would take to the vendor's half there would be no inconvenience in this. Mr Gordon's last letter to J.P. stated that the Bank would be willing to assume responsibility of £300 of the acceptance, so there would not be any hesitation on their part.
