Description

Cash books of T.J. Dixon.

Detailed entries for Searby (per William Petch, junior) from 1840. Early vols. mostly in hand of T.J.D., but Searby accounts entered from c. 1842 in various hands. Henry Seagrave first appears as bailiff in November 1849, and enters Searby account in May 1849. From 1853 entries in Dixon's hand grow less frequent, and from 1856 nearly all entries are by Seagrave.
