Richard Pearce and Thomas Wills; confessed to assault and battery: fined 6d. each.

Application by St Cleer concerning female bastard child of Mary Knight: Thomas Symon of Redruth, tinner, alleged father, to pay 1s. weekly maintenance and £2 19s. lying-in expenses; Mary Knight unable to contribute or nurse the child.

John Neal of Bodmin; confessed to assault and battery: fined 6d.

Lawrence Jewell of Cardinham, labourer; confessed to two indictments of assault and battery: fined 1s.

Charles Borrows; confessed to a misdemeanour: fined 6d.

John Banfield of Lelant, tinner; stealing goods of Henry Tonkin, value 10d.: public whipping.

Elizabeth Cook, alias Turner; confessed to assault and battery: fined 1s.

Charles Roberts, Francis Vivian and Richard Yelland; tried for trespass and misdemeanour: acquitted.

Vice-treasurer to pay Sir John Molesworth £25 8s., cost of repairing bridewell.

To be discharged from bridewell for want of prosecution:

Anthony Jenkyn, on suspicion of felony.

Ann Mitchell for breach of the peace.

Thomas Bolitho for breach of the peace.

Presentment of Liskeard for not repairing highway: discharged.
