Administrative / biographical background
Both albums were compiled by Ernest William Prideaux (1882-1956). He lived at 99 Munster Road, Fulham until his marriage in February 1907 to Elsie May Bryant of 41 Foskett Road, Fulham at Dawes Road, Baptist Chapel. He was a Civil Service 2nd Division Clerk in the Savings Bank and later worked in the Patent Office. His father, William Henry Prideaux was a printer and bookseller in the Fulham area. His father-in-law was a dairyman.
