Made by Hannah, the wife of Frank Davis (of 97, King Edward Rd., Coventry, bricklayer), a member of the Coventry Permanent Economic Building Society, with that society, for £400 with repayment by 6/8 weekly instalments within 25 years at £5% p.a. interest from 6th. May, 1925 to 29th. Apr., 1950; there must be three calendar months' notice of fees-alteration, at which time the mortgage may be redeemed; the mortgagor may so pay that the amount paid in one year shall not fall below the interest plus expenses and is not less than £4% of the sum advanced -she will be credited for discharging her loan at a higher rate; H. Davis conveys to the society scheduled hereditaments for the duration of the trust - it will be ready to reconvey them but will also have a power of sale (any surplus from the sale going to the mortgagor); H. Davis will not enquire into the propriety of a sale, and will repair the premises. Schedule: land bounded west by Raleigh Road, east by a back road, north by Charles Blockley's land, and south by a 3ft. wide footpath), a tenement thereon (18, Raleigh Rd. with party-walls to the house and garden and with a shared garden fence on the nothern side), right of way over a footpath from Raleigh Rd. to a back road maintained at the joint expense of the society and other owners, and benefit of covenants agreed with C. Blockley for repairing the footpath and doors and gates (subject to a 22nd. May, 1908 deed of covenant made between Blockley et al of the first part, Henry Miller, William Clark Musgrave and George Hopkinson of the second, and the Rugby Benefit Building Society of the third).
