Parties 1) John Boscott of Chipping Norton, grocer's assistant. 2a) George Rouse of Chipping Norton, labourer. 2b) Alice Rouse, wife of 2a. 3) Edward Orford of Churchill, bank clerk. Recites that Joseph Boscott late of Chipping Norton, yeoman, deceased d.intestate 21 Dec.1871 leaving 2b. his widow (then Alice Boscott) and 1. his son surviving him. Recites that 2b. has now married 2a. and is entitled to dower out of some of the premises. Recites that 3. has agreed to lend 1. £300 and 2. have agreed to join in the conveyance for releasing 2b's right to dower in the premises. Now, in consideration of £300 lent to 1. by 3. and 5s. paid to 2. by Samuel (sic) Orford, 1. and 2. convey to 3. and his heirs the premises mentioned in document CH/CN/II/9. Proviso for redemption if 1. pays 3. the sum of £300 with £5% interest on 26 October.
