Gallantry Notes: From "Gallantry Awards to 29 Bn MGC" - Meiklejohn: "This NCO has served continuously as CQMS in the Field for the past eighteen months. His Company has taken part in all the fighting in Flanders 1917, Cambrai, Bailleul April 1918, and Bailleul and Hill 63 in September 1918. On all occasionswhen his Company was in the line no matter what were the conditions, CQMS Haith has personally seen the rations up to the Company. On many occasions roads have ben heavily shelled as in the case of the approaches to the Outtersteene Ridge, but this WO has never failed to get through. For several months of this year when the Company has no Transport Officer, CQMS Haith combined those duties with his own and showed himself most efficient. His energy and devotion to duty have been untiring in the carrying out of his most difficult and dangerous duties.;
