Letter of Solomon Morales, Provincial Grand Secretary, Kingston, Jamaica to Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary seeking information about the arrival of the proposed provincial grand lodge warrant after a meeting of Past Masters and Masters of lodges meeting under the Antients' Grand Lodge in Jamaica. Those named on the warrant to include the Honorable William Blake, Speaker of the House, Colonel William Vick, Joseph Dunckerley and Hymen Cohen Esq. Mentions letters sent to George Isaacs Esq, a merchant of Bevis Marks, London, the representative of Union Lodge, No. 257 [No. 1, Provincial, SN 1166], Jamaica and Hymen Cohen, presently at Bury Street, Bevis Marks, London, who agreed to pay the expenses and can collect the warrant. Mentions that additional dispensations to form local lodges will be granted under the proposed provincial grand lodge warrant after its arrival.

Provincial Grand Lodge, No. 1 was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge on 1 June 1796 to meet as No. 301 at the Masons' Hall, Port Royal Street, Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies. The Lodge was erased at the time of the union between the Antients' and Moderns' Grand Lodges to form the United Grand Lodge of England in 1813.
