Description

Annual returns giving names, professions and residence of members of the Lodge of Economy [Antients] and general correspondence relating to the running of the lodge. Includes a petition for relief. Years 1807 and 1808 are not extant.

Administrative / biographical background

The Lodge of Economy was established in 1761 and met at the Bakers' Arms, High Street, Winchester, Hampshire. The lodge was named the lodge of Economy in 1816. The lodge now meets at the Masonic Centre, Alresford Road, Winchester.
