Betton has contracted for the absolute purchase for £530
Cons: £360 paid to Smallman on Edwards' direction and £170 to Edwards
Lease and release of a messuage and land viz, the Wood being 7 pieces, 2 pieces called the Clays, 3 pieces called the Wholly Wall, the Greenhouse Gate, a piece inclosed out of the Overfield belonging to the township of Wentnor, Duddlesich Meadow and the Long Piece above it, 2 pieces called the Lathery Gate, the Houldea adj. a meadow in possession of Edward Hotchkiss called the Long Meadow, 1 yard or piece of land adj the house, 1 acre in a common field called Onion field belonging to the township of Wentnor, 2 acres in another common field belonging to the township of Wantnor called the Lower Field, (John Farmer and Isaac Thomas), all in Wentnor. Smallman covenants that he has not encumbered the property. Smallman and Edwards covenant that they are lawfully seized of the property, with power to convey, that it is not encumbered, that they will make further assurance and levy a fine on 1 messuage, 1 cottage, 20 acres land, 15 acres meadow, 20 acres pasture, 6 acres wood, 20 acres furze and heathand common of pasture in Wentnor, to enure to use of Richard Betton his heirs and assigns for ever
