Settlement between Bolckow, Vaughan and Co. Ltd. and Mrs Manners due to the damage to her properties in Wharton Street, Coundon, County Durham. A report of the examination of the property by a Mr Braithwaite found that the dwelling house, shop and two cottages belonging to Mrs Manners had sustained damage from mining operations carried out by Bolckow, Vaughan and Co. Ltd.. The sum of fifty pounds compensation was agreed upon.
