Description

The manors of Normanton (Wilts)., Shamborde (I.W.) and messuages and lands in Great Ambresbury, Little Ambresbury, Normanton, Lake and Great Durnford (Wilts), and in Shamborde parish of Northwood, Preston Vavasor, parish of St. Helens and Brighstone, I.W., except the manors, messuages and lands in parish of St. Helens which were sometime of John Mohun, Esq., deceased held on lease by one Hugh Oglander dated 8 September 1532, which shall remain to Thomas and his heirs.

(2) Richard his younger son.

NOTE: Thomas Trenchard of Wolveton, Dorset, Esq., conveyed to George Oglander in fee all his tenement and mansion at Preston Vavasor or Preston Trubville or Troblefield with its appurts. as well as South Sandham and elsewhere. 22 April 1556. Stone M/S.
