Balloted for Sidbury, East Devon militia for his wife Agnes and one child, the sum of £3 per annum from 16 Dec 1807 to 29 June, paid 2/2d weekly William Isaac, in the East Devon militia, for Sarah his wife and two children, £3 10s for 26 weeks pay from 30 Nov 1807 to 30 May 1808, being substitute for John Vildey of Honiton

James Thriscott in the South Devon militia, for Mary his wife and two children, the sum of £3 12s for 24 weeks pay from 22 Dec 1807 to 6 June 1808, being substitute for John Netherton of Stoke Fleming Total £10 10s 8d for 3 orders
