1. Richard Reynolds heretofore of the Bank, ironmaster, but now of the City of Bristol,gent, surviving trustee under the will of Samuel Thomas heretofore of Ketley, decd.
2. Hannah Thomas of the Bank, spinster, one of the daughters and co-heiresses at law of Samuel Thomas and a devisee in the will
3. Thomas Cranage of the Bank, accountant, and Henrietta his wife, other daughter and coheiress of Samuel Thomas and other devisee in his will
4. Sarah Darby of Coalbrook Dale, spinster
Samuel Thomas at his death was seised in fee simple in possession of a house and lands & c below. Will 28 3rd month (March) 1793 bequeathing to Richard Reynolds and to William Reynolds and Mark Gilpin,both since deceased, 2 dwelling houses, orchards and gardens then let to Grace Thomas and the Coalbrook Dale Co., in trust to be disposed of thus:- the house, orchard and garden (Grace Thomas) to his daughter Henrietta at 21, the other house, orchard and garden (C'dale Co) to his daughter Hannah Thomas at 21. If either die, the survivor to have both. The trustees are appointed executors. Both daughters are over 21. Henrietta married Thomas Cranage. Sarah Darby has agreed with Hannah Thomas to buy her house for £150. There is doubt whether Henrietta Thomas (Cranage) and Hannah Thomas took more than estates for their lives in the premises, therefore Thomas Cranage and Henrietta being satisfied it was the intention of their father that each daughter should take the fee simple and inheritance of the hereditaments, in order to remove the doubts have joined in the conveyance.
So for £150 the dwelling house with the garden and orchard so devised by the will to the use of Hannah Thomas, at Coalbrook Dale (C'dale Co). Reservation to the Lord of the Manor of Madeley what is excepted out of the original grant of the said house. To Sarah Darby and her heirs forever.
