"being the Value of a Horse taken for a Heriot", 1752. The 1750 receipt's pounce (sand to dry the ink) sparkles yet. The 1752 receipts each include bond to pay Sir Wilfrid his fines and rents when due.

This bundle also contains the following non-manorial papers:
"To the Honorable the Commissioners for the Ejection of Ignorant and Scandalous Ministers in the foure Northern Counties etc., The humble petition of the Parishioners and Inhabitants of the Parishes of Punsonby St Johns and St Bridgetts .." [Ponsonby and the two Beckermets] - "That whereas your poore desolat and soule-starveinge Petitioners" have been for several years "totally destitute of all soule saveinge meanes .. through the godlesse negligence of the late delinquent Patrons and others now receiveinge the tythes", we the undersigned now desire that "Mr Christopher Stockbridge, now Minister at Wabortwhaite an approved godly dispenser of the gospell of Christ", be commended to fit us into his schedule "untill some other godly Minister be placed among us"; here follow in this copy the names of 25 people; and on page 3 of this item, copy of the Commissioners' order granting the petition, and that Mr Stockbridge, not Sir Wilfrid Lawson, shall enjoy the parishes' profits [and tithes]; the signatories were William Brisco, Thomas Craister, Cuthbert Studholme, Thomas Langhorne, Thomas Sewell, n.d. [1650s] (contemporary copy)
"This is an Account of the Money due to Sir Wilfrid Lawson Bart. who Dyed in 1764 [was "1744", corrected; actually, 1762] On Mortgages and Bonds - 21 entries, each with name and sum, and date begun: 11 mortgages, 7 bonds, 1 rent, 1 on note, 1 wood sale; total £5634, n.d. [c. 1760s]
Receipted voucher - Coach Fare from London to Brayton (£3. 15s. 0d.), and expenses at 3s.0d. per day (15s.0d.), due to John Hill from Wilfrid Lawson Esq., n.d. [18th cent.]
Plan and section of a long flight of steps, with length of each tread; total length 188ft.4½ins. consisting of 25 steps; "Lenth of Line to Draw Side sweep 60 foot 8 Ins."; no indication of where for, n.d. [18th cent.]
