Homagium: Tenentes modo comparentes. Tenentes terre Cantare [sic] Thome Ellys, tenentes terre Cantarie Johannis Grenne, fratres hospitalis sancti bartholomei, Johannes broke, et Johannes Colford. Tenentes non comparentes: Willelmus fynche, Robartus Whyte armiger, Johannes Cok, gent. (overwritten perdonatur per dominum). Tenentes terre Edmundi Nores, tenentes terre Johannis bisshop, Gardiani ecclesie sancti Clementis, tenentes terre domus sancti Johannis baptiste, tenentes terre Willelmi Gailer, and Johannes Mylet fecerunt defaltam huius curie, ideo quilibet eorum in misericordia ad ij d. Item tenentes predicti comparentes presentant quod Robartus benet qui nuper perquisivit de executoribus Johannis bysshop unam rodam terre cum pertinentiis iacentem apud Sandoun inter terram tenentium cantarie Nicholai burton versus East regiam viam ducentem a hospitale sancti bartholomei usque le gestelyng[Cf. Hasted op. cit., vol. iv., pp. 120, 255, "now the north stream."] versus West, terram Jeronimi Penell versus South et regiam viam ducentem a Sandoun usque Sandewicum versus north unde accidunt domino fidelitas & relevium et relevium inde est dimidia redditus ideo distringatur citra proximam curiam. Item tenentes predicti presentant quod [blank] Reade qui nuper perquisivit de Johanne Mylet decem acras terre iacentes apud Archislowe inter terram heredum Walteri Coly versus west, north & east et terram heredum Edmundi Nores versus sowth unde accidunt domino fidelitas & relevium, et relevium inde est dimidia redditus, ideo distringatur citra proximam curiam. Tenants not appearing and amerced 2 d: Jerome Penell, Master John Coks, John Broke, Master Copyldyke, tenants of the land of St John the Baptist, tenants of the land of Richard Exherst, William Gaylier for land of Wymark.
