1. Letters to Lord Weymouth from Capt. Morgan Powell, his agent at Tamworth, Cos. Warw. and Staff.
Lord Weymouth, as Thomas Thynne was M.P. for Tamworth from 1678 - 1681. He appears also to have owned or leased the Manor of Drayton, co. Staff. (about three miles SW. of Tamworth) where he kept a stud of horses concerning which many of Capt. Powell's letters treat. 1678 - 1688. ff. 1 - 215.
II. Letters to Lord Weymouth from John Mainewaring, his agent at Tamworth. He seems to have succeeded Capt. M. Powell in that post. 1688 - 1711. ff.217 - 369.
