Title page signed. Transcribed by David Willis. Dated 1983. 'Dedicated in long-standing friendship to David Ellis.' Photographically reduced copyist's score. ff.6-25 'Overture: Scènes de Ballet 1983'. Paginated 1a, 1b, 1c; 7-38. Signed and dated Dec 21 1983. ff.26-31 Variations [no theme written out]. Vars 1-10; 'Theme & Variations (3rd Set)'. 'Theme as before' followed by var.s 1-6, 9-13, epilogue. f.33 Sketch of 3 variations? f.36 SATB scored. No words. On verso 'Theme & Variations Second Set' - crossed out. ff.37-54 'A journal of the Voyages of 'New Music Manchester' (25 short preludes by John Ogdon) Dedicated to Peter Maxwell Davies'. ff.37-47 Loose sheets, various alternative versions to certain preludes. ff.48-54 Spiralbound book of the preludes.
