The Atlantic Phoenix Lodge No. 224 was established in 1797 and met at the House of Brother Trott, Flatts Village, Island of Bermuda, West Indies. In 1801 the lodge moved from Flatts Village to Freemasons' Hall, St. George's, St. George's Island, Bermuda. The lodge remained in St. George's until 1810 when it moved to Hamilton, Bermuda, meeting at the Masonic Rooms on Reid Street. The lodge has met in several places in Hamilton but from 1850 to the present it has met at Freemasons' Hall, Reid Street, Hamilton. In 1797 the lodge was named St. George's Lodge and it was renamed the Atlantic Phoenix Lodge in 1847.
