This collection comprises a volume containing a transcript of Letters Patent of Inspeximus of Letters Patent 1422, confirming grants of rights and privileges to the Archbishops of York from the time of King Athelstan late 17th century [M2/4e]; court books of the Archbishop's Consistory Court 1371-1427 (with gaps [M2/1b-c, M2/1e, and M2/1g-h]; depositions in a tithe cause concerning John de Hermesthorp, prebendary of Sharrow in the collegiate church of Ripon, contra Richard Webbester of Sutton 1376-1377 [P1/1/16]; responsions in two tithe causes both relating to payment of tithe of sheep and other breasts pastured of Kayingham Marsh c1663 [P1/1/17]; letter books of the Archbishop's Registry 1837-1846 [COLL/1964/3].
