Collection in three parts (Photo 409/1-3), containing photographs relating to the career in India of Sir Denys Pilditch, including portraits of tribes and castes of the United Provinces, police groups and miscellaneous views. Sir Denys Pilditch (1891-1975) joined the Indian Police (UP) in 1912 and later served from 1939-45 as Director of the Indian Intelligence Bureau.
