Administrative / biographical background

The material relates to the donor's mother Harriet Naylor, born 1893, died 1988 aged 94. Harriet came originally from Barnsley. She first worked as a domestic servant. During World War One she worked at Hans Renold in Manchester. She married Harry Bradshaw, the donor's father, who died while the donor was young. Harriet later married Frank Adshead.
