Description

Rebecca Sandford of Shrewsbury spinster, Jonathan Scott of Shrewsbury draper, The Rev. Daniel Austin of Berrington clerk Folliot Sandford of Shrewsbury mercer, Job Sandford of Liverpool merchant, and Richard Sandford of Shrewsbury gent; to all persons to whom these present shall come; Whereas by indenture January 10th 1717 (465/585/4). It is now agreed that the estate and term limited to Rowland Baugh and Francis Walker was upon trust to the intent in case Humphrey Sandford should have younger children of Rebecca Walker living at the beginning of the term, that the trustees should out of the profits and issues, or by sale or mortgage, of the premises levy £2000 to be equally divided between the younger children.

Whereas Rebecca Sandford, Mary the wife of Jonathan Scott, Anne wife of Daniel Austin, Folliot, Job and Richard are the younger children of Humphrey Sandford and Rebecca Walker, both now deceased, and are entitled to £333 6s. 8d. as sixth part share of £2000, which they have now received from Humphrey Sandford of the Isle, eldest son of Humphrey Sandford and Rebecca. Rebecca Sandford and others have released to Humphrey Sandford the £333 6s. 8d. due to them with all claim to same and claim in the manor of Bayston, and other messuages, lands etc. charged by Humphrey Sandford with the sum of £2000.
