Folio 97. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to R W Cooper, 4 Westminster Chambers, Victoria Street, SW referring to his letter of 14 January 1885, which enclosed a copy of the objections raised by the East Dereham Gas and Coke Company against the application of the East Dereham Local Board for a provisional order under the Gas and Water Works Facilities Act 1870, 33 & 34 Vic c 70. They enclose for the information of the Company a copy of a communication received by the Board from the Local Board on the subject [not included].
The Board will direct a local inquiry to be held on the matter by one of its inspectors as soon as is practicable, with due notice being given locally.Paper Number: 12288/K (1)/1885.
