List of members of the new Board of Country Stewards compiled by William White, Grand Secretary, including [J] Sargeant of Jermyn Street; Ross, a perfumier of Bishopsgate Street; Creswell of 41Bedford Row; G[eorge] Wilson of 33 Bond Street; Wood of Richard's Buildings, Islington; Hammond of South Street, Westminster; Heyden of 22 Jay Lane and William Smith of 25 John Street, Blackfriars Road. Includes a note that the latter resigned in consequence of an acccident.

Country Steward's Lodge was granted a warrant by the Moderns' Grand Lodge on 25 July 1789 and met as No. 540 at the Guildhall Coffee House, Gresham Street, London. In 1790 the Lodge moved to the Freemasons' Tavern, Great Queen Street, London. The Lodge was renumbered as No. 449 in 1792. The Lodge made its last payment in 1799 and lapsed about 1802.
