JJ Waller is a Brighton-based photographer, but in the 1970s and 1980s he was a Covent Garden street entertainer and stand up comedy performer who performed on the comedy/cabaret circuit in London and Brighton particularly. The JJ Waller Collection contains promotional material for his act 'Captain JJ Waller' (brochures and photographs), press coverage and show reviews, listings and flyers for gigs/events at which he performed, and a copy of the 'Zap' book, celebrating 25 years of the Zap Club, Brighton (Zap Art/ Queenspark Books, 2007).
