The account relating to Thos. Webb is numbered page 1. The mutual trade and balancing of accounts is illustrated by the transactions with Wm. Hawkes on p. 13 - Wm. Hawkes had 5 strike of winter vetches at 6s. per strike, £1. 10s.; received a bag of seed of seed wheat, £1. 4s.; the 6s. balance was afterwards received of Mr. Hawkes. Later 44 lbs. of beef was sold to Hawkes. Between 1773-1782 (p. 14) 449 cwts. of cheese at prices ranging from £1. 3s. to £1. 11s. per cwt. were delivered to a Mr. Collins - 6 Sept. 1782 delivered to Mr. Collins 46 cwt. of cheese at £1.9s. per cwt., £66. 14s.
