Designs for iron bridges.28 foot spans:
Design for wrought iron girder (sections and elevations of the bridge), details of wrought iron girders - 2 sheets of partially coloured tracings, not dated.Plans, sections, detail drawings etc. showing chequered plates, lattices and webs, boxes, ends of girders, struts, cornices, railings, piers - 12 pencil tracings (these tracings show a different design to the above pair).
Memoranda - "Schedule of Prices" of bridge parts; "General Summary" of costs of "Divisions" A and B; two sheets of costs marked "Summary"; costs "For one span complete" with costs of pier superstructure, bed plates etc. and summary of Divisions A, B and C; "Weights of 1 span complete" with weights of pier superstructure, bed plates etc.; 3 sheets of rough notes and calculations of costs of iron parts, timber etc.
Wrapper for the 12 pencil tracings and memoranda marked "Tracings of Bridge to be erected over the River Soane, East Indian Railway, Feb. 1857."
