Letters: July 17th 1907, 22nd July 1907, November 1910 refer to the Keltie being awarded the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav. Letters: 24th December 1917, 25th January 1918 refer to Keltie receiving a Knighthood. Letters: June 20th 1921, July 5th 1921, refer to Finland conferring the Order of the White Rose on Keltie. Letter: January 25th 1927 to Mrs Gilmour enclosing a piece by Douglas Freshfield on Keltie and his work for the Society.

Letters dated 1893-1904 between Alexander Nansen and John Scott Keltie regarding the management of Fridtjof Nansen's (Alexander's brother) affairs such as negotiations with newspaper articles, payments etc. Later letters also concern Sverdrup's writings.

Letters dated 1896 between John Scott Keltie and Fridtjof Nansen's solicitors, Mr George Lea and Mr Cobb mostly regarding a dispute with the Daily Chronicle and dealings with Constable over Nansen's manuscript. Two letters one to Keltie and one to Mr Gilmour dated March 1897 concern a Nansen exhibition. One from Alexander Nansen concerning a meeting with Mr Cobb.
