In 1920 the Rochdale and District Sunday School Teachers' Association (founded 1890) and the Rochdale Rural Deanery Lay Helpers' Association (founded 1891) united as one Association. There are no meetings entered in the minute book from 1954 to 1976, when the funds were transferred to the British and Foreign Bible Soc., Rochdale Branch.
