Counterpart lease from Sir Robert Willughby kt. of Broke in Wiltshire to John Hawkyns sen. and John his son of Longe Staunton co. Cambs. husbandmen of lands and tenements called Fraunch lady is landes in Staunton, reserving to the lessor and his heirs all manner of wards and marriages, from Easter then next following for 15 years at a rent of £5. 6s. 8d. per annum, payable at Alhalowen. The lessees also bound themselves to find sufficient security before Midsummer in the last year for payment of the last year's rent, otherwise to be liable to distraint.
