Ts account (photocopy 43 pp) of his experiences as a prisoner of war in Changi, Singapore (February 1942-May 1943) and Hakodate and Nisi Asebetsu camps in Japan (May 1943-August 1945) following his capture at Singapore while serving as a private in the 1st Battalion of the Straits Settlement Volunteer Force; ms notes (6 pp) by R K Mitchell expanding on points in Munro's account. Mitchell was a prisoner in Hakodate at the same time as Munro.
