Description

Mary Sandford, of parish of Walcot Somerset, widow of Edward Sandford, to Folliot Sandford living in Bath.

Consideration £100. To Folliot Sandford all the goods household stuff, and implements of household, and other chattells mentioned in the schedule, as are in her dwelling house, situate in a pile of buildings, called American buildings.

To have and to hold by Folliot Sandford and assigns: Warranted by Mary Sandford and assign and executors. If Mary or her assigns or executors shall repay to Folliot Sandford the £100 with due interest before the next November, above bargain and sale to be void. Schedule above refers to:- 2 large four poster bedsteads, (Mahogany,) with furniture. Goose feather bed, bolster, and 2 pillows, matress, 3 blankets, a Marseilles quilt.

1 four post stained wood, with furniture, goose feather bed, bolster, and 2 pillars, mattress, 3 blankets, and counterpane. One clasp knife. 2 field bedsteads, with furniture, mill puff beds, 3 blankets, and counterpane each.

10 drawing room chairs, 2 card tables, 1 sofa, 1 secretary, 1 bookcase, 2 fire screens, 2 pier glasses 2 swing box.

2 parlour chairs, 1 celleret, 2 dining tables, 3 chamber chairs, 2 chests of drawers, 2 bason stands 2 sets of bedside carpets, 1 drawing carpet, 1 stair carpet, and brass rods, 3 sets of fire irons, 2 brass fenders, 3 green wire, 1 kitchen fender, Sundry kitchen utensils.

Memorandum. On the day (April 13) and year before written, possession of the chattells and effects. above bargained and sold were delivered by the said Mary Sandford to the said Folliot Sandford by her giving to him a clasp knife in the name of livery of possession of the whole chattels above mentioned, in the presence of Edward Webb. Signed by Mary Sandford.
