It received a warrant from the Antients' Grand Lodge on 27 December 1796 and met at the Brown Cow, Lord Street, Liverpool. The Lodge met in numerous inns and taverns across Liverpool until 1852 when it left Liverpool for the Woolton Hotel, Much Woolton, Lancashire. In 1857 the Lodge left Much Woolton and moved to the Wellington Hotel, Wellington Street in Garston, Lancashire. The Lodge moved to the Masonic Hall, 9 Island Road South, Garston, Liverpool in 1926, where it continues to meet. The Antients' Grand Lodge formed a union with the Moderns' Grand Lodge to form the United Grand Lodge of England in 1813, when the Lodge was renumbered as No. 385.
