Description

December 1901 to March 1902. 2 attached fold-out surveys, page 51, both showing Queenstown Harbour, Ireland, new limits and new moorings shown in red.
Attached envelope, page 70, 'Cover for Sketch and Tracing of the Moorings for HMS 'Caroline' at Harwich enclosed in letter from Sheerness Yard, dated 5th November 1901', containing 2 documents; firstly, a sketch depicting a buoy with various measurements underneath, entitled 'Moorings for HMS 'Caroline', Laid 30.10.01 at Harwich'; secondly, a tracing, chart number 1491, 'Moorings for HMS 'Caroline', laid 30th October 1901'.
Attached fold-out survey, page 111, Chatham, Sketch for a New Basin, including St Mary's Island and the Dock Yard. This is hidden in amongst the attached A4 papers.

'Huronian', Missing in North Atlantic since February, Requesting Admiralty to make search for', showing the track Huronian was to follow, Canada to Ireland, and the most probable area for search; second one, 'To accompany 'Bellona's Orders, Track to be followed from Scotland to the Feroe Islands, in between Scotland and Iceland; and third one, showing the track and area being searched by 'Bellona', and the Blue track to be followed by 'Thames', in the waters between Iceland and Ireland.

Loose sheet and attached fold-out survey, page 295; attached survey showing British Columbia, and the Probable Centre of Cyclonic Gale, Noon 3rd December 1901, the sheet attached to this survey is a tracing, 'If moved along the probable track of storm on Chart this tracing will show the shift of wind at every position'
