The Ritz Cinema in Hereford contained a theatre organ, and the organist would take requests, which would be displayed to the audience in the cinema using magic lantern slides. This is one of the slides that was shown.
It was a request made by one of the depositor's ancestors. It is presumed that the requestor of the music got to keep the slide produced for their request.
