Funding source(s): Barrow Cadbury Fund Ltd. Applicant overview: Koco Ltd. is a company that was formed in 1982 to develop and administer the ex-Renold Chain offices at Spon End, Coventry. The company aims to create facilities that can be used to, 1) develop answers to the jobs crisis in Coventry, whilst at the same time creating new work structures through co-operatives and small producers, 2) assist individuals/groups to deal with social and employment problems themselves, and 3) combine the above work to develop initiatives and to take action in relation to the City's problems. Nature of support: In 1989 a single grant of £3,000 was made towards renovations and removals. In 1990 the Fund agreed to offer up to £7,000 to help renovate kitchen facilities at Koco Ltd.
