3. 6th September, 1666.

Thomas ap Humphrey of Miners, co.Denbigh, yeoman, attorns tenant to the Mayor and Citizens, and pays 12d. in seisin of his rent for ten parcels of land and two cottages purchased from Mr. Vaughan Of Diddleston, co.Salop. ;a messuage and five parcels of land a little cottage and gardens mortgaged from Mr. Vaughan in MINERA, co.Denbigh, at yearly rent of £15.

Thomas ap Owen of Minera attorns tenant to the Mayor and Citizens and pays 6d. in seisin of his rent for a messuage four closes and a garden with appurtenances in MINERA, co. Denbigh, purchased from Hugh Griffith, and a little meadow purchased from Mr. Vaughan, at yearly rent of £3.10s. p.a.

Draft or copy Bond in £37 to secure £18. 10s. rent to be received from Owen Jones' messuages and lands in MINERA, co. Denbigh, and paid to the City Sheriffs.

6. 29th September, 1665. Accounts of Owen Jones' Estate. Na. Lowndes.

7. 1666. Accounts since 'Mr. Nathaniel Lowndes employed by the Mayor and Sherifs of the Citie of Chester cast up our accounts at Mr. Hugh Johnson his house in North-hope 25th August 1665' - October, 1666.

8. 31st August, 1666. Authority for Mr. Samuel Hughes of North-hope to shew to the Mayor and Sheriffs of Chester the lands and houses in MINERA, co. Denbigh, bought and mortgaged to Owen Jones and declaration that they are possessed thereof.

9. November, 1667 - March, 1668. An account of moneys received by George Bulkeley from MINERA lands and by Him paid.

10. 25th August, 1665- 20th March, 1665/6. 'Mr. Archibold Sparkes Account of money received and paid by him out of Owen Jones' estate.

11. March-May, 1666. Note of receipts since my Sparkes ? accounts given to Mr. Gawin Hudson, Sheriff, at the house of Mr. Hugh Johnson in Northop.

12. 5th September, 1665. A balance of Owen Jones' Estate drawn up at Chester. Na. Lowndes.

13. 5th February, 1664/5. Note of charges. Order signed by the Mayor for the Treasurers to pay £3. 11s. d. Charges 'for the fine from Mr. Egerton to the City'. Order signed by Richard Taylor, Mayor, to the Treasurers for payment of £3. 17s. 6d. Receipt for the same, dated 20th March, 1664/5. Signature torn away.

14. - 18 Ch.II. 1666. Draft of discharge for Robert Davies of Gwiffanay ? co.Flint, Esq., and Archibald Sparke, clerk, vicar of Northope, surviving John Johnson, late of the City of Chester, Alderman, deceased, executors of Owen Jones will of Rents and profits of lands etc., in Cheshire and Denbighshire. Note 'Tanners for present yr.'

15. Note of payment of legacies to Robert Fernall and Mrs. Ann Johnson and Mr. Robert Denteth. Note of rent due from Robert Fernall and from John Rigmardens lands - Alderman Taylor disposed of moneys paid in to the City by purchase of lands in Flintshire and Denbighshire, as in Denbigh, Gresford, Pulford, Dodleston, etc.' which made up a huge summe, I have the acquittances and discharges in my custody'.

16. 1665/6. Account of moneys from the estate of Owen Jones since the perfecting of the former account given to Richard Taylor, Esq. then Mayor the 11th of August, 1665...

17. A Balance of Owen Jones' Estate drawn out in Northop and received from Mr. Archibald Sparke 25th August, 1665.

18. 10th October, 1678. Receipt by William Selby and Richard Price, Aldermen, John Nicholl and Handle Pickmore, Stewards of the Company of Butchers for £38 received from William Ince, Esq. Mayor, Thomas Hand and John Mottershed, Sheriffs, according to the will of Owen Jones.
