Draft letter from the Local Government Board to Walter May Barton, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 14 December 1880 and giving consent to the appointment of Ellen Murray to the office of nurse at the workhouse of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, at a salary of £30 per annum together with 1s per week in lieu of beer.
