Description

Annual returns giving names, professions and residence of members of the Lodge of Hope [Moderns]. Years 1765 - 1769, 1771 - 1774, 1778 - 1780 and 1788 - 1790 are not extant.

Administrative / biographical background

The lodge of Hope was established in 1775 and met at the Three Tuns, High Street, Stourbridge, Worcestershire. The lodge was named the Lodge of Hope in 1793.In 1802 the lodge met at the Crown, High Street, Stourbridge and the meetings remained there until the lodge was erased in 1828.
