Enclosing a few letters from JB to add to her collection. They were written to the Thorps of York. Mrs Amy Thorp was aunt to Roger Clark, the eldest sister of his father. He writes: 'I cannot feel it right for me to destroy them ... (they) seem to breathe the life of her spirit.'
