A quarto book bound in calf. This was an account book of the estate of Sir Theophilus Metcalfe Bart. deceased, apparently for 1822-24, but only one page of accounts remains, the others being cut out. Contains further notes, copies or extracts as follows: calendar and names of Justices of the Peace, coroners and constables for 1710, no source. Followed by extracts from the Gents. Mag. on Sir Richard Hansard, Stainby, Haceby, Bishops' Palace Lincoln, a list of owners of Lincolnshire seats 1818, River Witham, Temple Bruer, Harrington, Bigby, Lea, Ashby cum Fenby, Whaplode, Horncastle, Kelstern, Fotherby, Caistor, Stallingborough, Clee, Stow, Grimsby, Hatcliffe. The letter index at the front of the book is used for recording dates of various persons connected with Lincolnshire.
