Names of strangers allowed to read in Sion College Library'. A register of students (other than City of London clergy) admitted to study in Sion College Library. In the hand of Robert Watts (d. 1842), Librarian of Sion College. The volume was used as a ledger, with a page for each student on which was recorded payments of annual fees for the use of the Library. At pp. 157-167 is an index of names. The volume was the first of a series ('no. 1' on front cover and spine). It records new students admitted 1819-27 and their payments of annual fees to 1839.

The second volume in the series, 'No. 2, Strangers allowed to read in Sion College Library', recording students admitted 1827-36 and their payments of fees to 1839, also in the hand of Robert Watts, is in the Sion College archive at London Metropolitan Archives (CLC/198/SICE/020/MS 33537). Sion L40.2/E29. Students admitted to Sion College Library 1632-1693.
