United Kingdom, southwest coast to France, west coast: 'Entrance of The English Channel'. Survey shows coastline, hydrography, ship's tracks (HMS Helicon October to November 1814) and remarks. Manuscript. Watermark: 'Bud [Budgen] 18 [?]' [obscured due page cut]. Latitude and longitude indicated; north point with compass indicator; no scale shown. Signed: 'W F [William Fairbrother] Carroll'. Carries Lieutenant Alexander Becher's red 'M' classification mark [partially torn]
